Warranty and Support Guide

CONGRATULATIONS! You are now the proud owner of a SIS Product. We are sure you will be satisfied with the performance and reliability of our products. In the rare event that you do required a support and service, this support guide will give you details on what to do and how. As you read through this, you will find that it covers most of your needs. SIS provides warranty service support to all its product range either directly or through Authorized Service Provider. The ASPs are carefully chosen and trained by SIS to maintain SIS products.

Warranty Period

Warranty period for an SIS product is a specified, fixed period starts on the date of installation. The date on your invoice or sales receipt is the date of installation unless SIS or SIS reseller informs you otherwise.

Types of Warranty Service

To enable SIS to provide best possible support and service during the warranty period, you may be directed by SIS to verity configurations, load most recent firmware, install software patches, or use SIS web support solutions where applicable.

SIS strongly recommends you to accept use of available web base support technologies provided by SIS. If you choose not to deploy available web base support capabilities, you may incur additional costs due to increase support resource requirements. Listed below are the types of warranty support service that may be applicable to SIS hardware product you have purchased.

On-Site Hardware Maintenance Service.

On-Site Hardware maintenance Services includes that SIS or SIS Authorized Service Provider will repair products at your site so as to ensure its satisfactory functioning during the warranty period if it is located within Municipal Limits of the respective SIS or SIS Authorized Service Provider location .

To enable SIS or SIS Authorized Service Provider to smoothly discharge this warranty obligation, you will have to make the system available to the engineers at your site.

On-Site hardware Maintenance Service will be available during standard office hours. Standard office hours are typically 10.00 to 17.00, Monday to Saturday.

For customers who are located outside Municipal Limits response time may be longer, the option of carry-in service at no additional charge or on-site service at additional charges are available.

Carry-In Hardware Maintenance Service.

Under the terms of carry-in hardware maintenance service, you will be required to deliver your SIS Hardware Product to an authorized service location for warranty repair and arrange to pick up the system after repairs

SIS or SIS Authorized Service Provider will repair products so as to ensure its satisfactory functioning during the warranty period.

You must prepay any shipping charges, taxes, or duties associated with transportation of the product to and from the service location.

In addition, you are responsible for insuring any product shipped or returned to an authorized service location and assume risk of loss during shipping.

Carry-In hardware Maintenance Service will be available during standard office hours. Standard office hours are typically 10.00 to 17.00, Monday to Saturday.
